Meds: Vegetarian Breakfast

Today was a nice change from all the wet and gloomy weather we’ve been getting and top it all off it was a Saturday! My friend and I decided to go out for breakfast. We rocked up at Meds, a popular restaurant in East London that makes African, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern foods. We got there around 10 am and looking at how busy the place was I guess everybody was out to enjoy the Saturday morning sunshine. We both ordered the vegetarian full breakfast as it looked very appetising, we spotted the people on the table next to us tucked into their vibrant plate of goodness!

The breakfast got to us promptly and we happily made our way through the large fluffy omelette with mushrooms, tomatoes, red onion rings and melted cheese topped with a sprinkling of coriander, accompanied by fried mushrooms, sauteed red, orange and green peppers, two slices of toast, two hash browns, chips, a tumbler overflowing with backed beans and little pots of tomato ketchup and mayonnaise.

Though the place was crowded it had a very warm atmosphere full of buzz and laughter and we enjoyed a very filling breakfast at a reasonable price of £5. We then spent the rest of the morning catching up and soaking up the sun!

Have a good weekend!

    • I *occasionally* love baked beans for breakfast! You usually get a side of beans when you order a big breakfast in London and across the UK I think… The omelette tasted amazing! 😀
